Our volunteers, supporters, donors, and corporate partners have helped us remain faithful to our mission for three-quarters of a century. In City Mission’s seventy-fifth year, you too have the opportunity to be a part of that legacy of faith by contributing to a graceful future in a variety of ways.
Join our efforts to bring hope to the homeless. Volunteering offers opportunities for you to use your God-given gifts of time, talent, and treasure to help those who are most in need. Every individual, group, or church has different gifts and interests to share, and we thank each and every one of you for your interest in volunteering.
Your gift to City Mission provides us with the resources we need to restore hope to the homeless population of Southwestern Pennsylvania, helping them on their way to a renewed life and independent living.
City Mission’s Hidden Treasures thrift stores sell gently used furniture, clothing, and household items to support our programs. In our seventy-fifth year, we’ve introduced our new boutique store concept, 1941 Boutique. Throughout the year, several more Hidden Treasures stores are scheduled to open—all to forward our mission and provide even more shopping experiences for the public.
Due to construction projects and changes in our facilities, City Mission is currently unable to accept recyclables. However, stay tuned—we’ll let you know when we’re back up and running again.
There are numerous ways that businesses can get involved with City Mission, including volunteering, donating items, hiring qualified residents, sponsoring events, and financial giving. Our Corporate Partnership Program provides a number of benefits for companies.
