| The Washington City Mission has seen many miracles as a direct result of prayer. The Washington City Mission is the only place some people will ever hear about the good news of Jesus. That eternally important opportunity to minister to those needing physical and spiritual food makes it vital that an army of Mission friends stands with us in continual prayer support. As much as the Lord rejoices over the work of the Mission, Satan hates it. The staff, board, volunteers, supporters and the men, women and children being served by the Mission are in great need of prayer. We have a number of people who are mighty Prayer Warriors asking God for protection, for help and for His compassion on behalf of our ministry to the hungry, homeless and hurting of Washington, Greene, southwestern Allegheny and Fayette counties. If you want to become part of this group, please call us at (724) 228-9240 ext. 221 or click here to email us for more information. Thank You for Praying Over These and Other Matters! - People in need will feel welcomed and loved at the City Mission;
- God's guidance and wisdom for the leadership, staff and board of the Washington City Mission;
- Hurting men, women and children will meet Jesus Christ at the Washington City Mission every day;
- God's daily strength and protection for the residents and graduates of Washington City Mission alcohol and drug recovery programs that they may be able to remain sober and clean;
- God will continue to provide qualified and committed staff and volunteers for all Washington City Mission programs.;
- The Washington City Mission will always strive for excellence in programs and management;
- Safety and health for all clients, volunteers and staff;
- God's continued provision for the financial needs of the Washington City Mission.
We believe God blesses the Mission in proportion to the number of people praying for us. Whether you are a Prayer Warrior or pray as you think of us and the people we serve, we appreciate you. Home | Programs |
