Our shelves have emptied again. Will you help us fill them?
Samaritan Care Services provides much needed emergency food bags to the areas needy and working poor.
Each month 886 families visit Samaritan Care for groceries and other items.
Why do these families need Samaritan Care Services?
After exhausting other income sources such as food stamps, families still need to make ends meet through the end of each month. City Mission’s Samaritan Care Services is here to fill that need.
Some families don’t qualify for food stamps – but are on the edge of need and come to us for regular support.
Just as you and I have to go to the grocery store to stock up on staples like bread, cereal, peanut butter and canned vegetables – so do the 886 families we serve.

It is becoming increasingly more difficult to keep up with this need. Your congregation can help!

Would you consider asking your members to donate food items from the list below? We appreciate all that you’ve done to help Samaritan Care and hope you will continue to help families that are in need.
