Donate | Donor Advised Funds

A Donor Advised Fund is a charitable investment account, set up by your financial advisor, to support charities of your choice. You can contribute cash, stock or other assets to a Donor Advised Fund to go to a charity and are generally eligible to take an immediate tax deduction. Then those funds can be invested for tax-free growth and you retain the right to recommend grants to virtually any IRS-qualified public charity, such as City Mission.

Donor Advised Funds are an easy and tax-efficient way to manage your charitable giving!  Grants made to City Mission through Donor Advised Funds are designated to be used “Where Most Needed.” Reach out to your financial advisor today to set this up.

If you have a specific interest that you’d like to discuss or questions about this for the mission, please contact Dr. Sally Mounts, Chief Development Officer, at 724-705-7122 or email smounts@citymission.org
