In addition to meeting the immediate physical needs of the homeless, we provide something even more valuable: hope. City Mission’s comprehensive suite of recovery programming is designed to help residents suffering from mental illness, chemical addiction, multiple relapses, incarceration, histories of abuse, abandonment and isolation, and functional and vocational disabilities to get back on their feet. The City Mission has 138 shelter/ program beds to serve the men, women, and children that come to our doors for help.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Who We Serve
For over 75 years, City Mission has shared Christ, sheltered, healed, and restored the homeless to independent living—without discrimination. Our goal is to help each man, woman, mother with children, or veteran who walks through our doors to become a healthy, productive member of society.
