Our Volunteer Philosophy: Volunteers founded City Mission. Volunteers have always been partners in the work of the mission. Volunteers are our most valuable resource and are an integral part of our future. We believe the talents, gifts, experiences, and time each volunteer brings to City Mission are gifts from God. We are committed to providing volunteers the opportunity to exercise their gifts in the service of “the least of these” for the Lord. Volunteers will assist us in continuing to offer quality programs that will provide residents the opportunity to take the next productive step in their journey to independence. Please read our Volunteer Brochure and feel free to explore our open volunteer opportunities.
Due to the current situation regarding the Coronavirus Pandemic and wanting to ensure everyone's safety, we have PAUSED volunteering until after the new year. Learn more about the updates to our Coronavirus Mitigation Plans.
Join our efforts to bring hope to the homeless. Volunteering offers opportunities for you to use your God-given gifts of time, talent, and treasure to help those who are most in need. Every individual or group has different gifts and interests to share, and we thank each and every one of you for your interest in volunteering.
