Your generosity will help to insure that City Mission continues to provide comprehensive care to our region’s homeless men, women and children, giving them hope for a brighter future.

Eleven Rules for a Successful Fundraiser

Set your fundraising goal
Determine your target audience
Choose a fun, engaging, time-limited event
Organize a committee of at least 5 dedicated helpers to organize, promote, and run the event
Set a budget
Schedule the date, time and venue far in advance
Consult City Mission’s Development Department for assistance creating fliers or invitations
Spread the word far and wide.
Consult City Mission’s Development Department for including promotion for the event in their Monday Morning Memo
Plan out what you need to host the fundraiser from conception to completion, giving everyone specific tasks and action items
Schedule someone from City Mission to attend the event to give a short talk about the Mission and to thank everyone.
